Your property. Your agreed instructions. A practical plan.
Effective monitoring starts before a camera is opened. The property, technology, observation arrangement and escalation responsibilities need to fit together.
Discuss your property

Conceptual equipment illustration only. Private living spaces shown on a demonstration screen are excluded from the residential monitoring scope.
Check the property and the available technology.
Share the property type and location, camera or recorder details, approximate number of proposed views and preferred monitoring hours. NETEX can assess whether the requested service is technically and operationally suitable.
Compatibility depends on the specific system, firmware, supported access method, permissions, network conditions and image quality. A familiar camera brand alone does not confirm compatibility.
Camera and recorder details
Provide model information and available documentation through an agreed channel.
Connectivity and image quality
Review stable remote access, lighting, camera position and usable views.
Authorised access
Confirm authority and agree the access method and required permissions before setup.
Write down what the service will do.
Agree the selected camera views, observation arrangement, monitoring hours and relevant property instructions. Define the concerns that require escalation, the people to contact and the reporting format.
Confirm service availability for the property’s location and address applicable privacy and surveillance requirements. Credentials should be exchanged only through an authorised setup process, never through public website comments or general content forms.

04 · ReportRelevant escalation and updates.
Move from visible activity to an agreed next step.
Under the agreed service, operators review available camera views and assess relevant observable activity in context. Where further action is called for, they follow the customer-approved escalation instructions.
Operators can only assess what the available footage shows. Verification may remain incomplete because of poor visibility, missing context or a disconnected camera. Monitoring cannot guarantee detection, intervention or a particular outcome.
Close the loop with usable records.
The agreed reporting process records relevant observations, actions and follow-up status. Property managers can use that information to review an event or identify where instructions need to change.
Keep camera lists, contact details and schedules current. Material changes to the property or its system should trigger a scope review so expectations continue to match the service.
Four steps to an agreed service.
Review the property
Discuss existing cameras, priority areas, connectivity and regional requirements.
Agree the scope
Document selected views, authorised access, hours and escalation instructions.
Begin monitoring
Observe agreed views under the approved operating plan and service arrangement.
Keep you informed
Receive relevant observations, escalation updates and agreed reporting.
Clear expectations.
From the beginning.
Every property is different. The right scope starts with the right questions.
Understand the processCan you use our existing CCTV system?
Existing systems can be assessed. NETEX needs the actual camera or recorder details, access method and relevant network information before confirming compatibility.
Do we have to replace all our cameras?
Replacement is not assumed. The review identifies whether the current system can support the proposed service and whether any changes would be needed.
Who authorises access to the cameras?
The customer must have the required authority for the property and nominated views. Access permissions and the setup method are agreed before monitoring begins.
Is monitoring available at any time of day?
Discuss the hours you require with NETEX. The agreed schedule and observation arrangement determine the service; availability is not automatic.
Do you contact emergency services automatically?
No automatic dispatch is promised. Operators follow the agreed escalation procedure, and any emergency-service involvement depends on that procedure and the circumstances.
Can a property in my country use the service?
Enquiries from international property managers are welcome. NETEX must confirm suitability, service availability and applicable requirements for the specific location before accepting the service.
Make the picture clearer.
Give your properties the monitoring attention they deserve.
